A.      Straight knife cutting M/C

    Advantage:

        i.                 Can cut height lay of fabric

      ii.                  Cheaper in price so that mostly use in garments industry

    iii.                  Straight, curved, angle and all types of cutting is possible.

     iv.                 RPM/Speed high- Rotation per minute

       v.                Suitable for angle cutting

     vi.                Can separate the panels by cutting Directly

   vii.                  Locally ableable.

Disadvantage:

        i.                  Defalcation/ Variation can be happen during cutting.

      ii.                 Cannot cut in any height of fabric

    iii.                 Possible to cause accident

B.      Round knife M/C :

  Round knife like CD disk, Knife RPM around 3500

Advantage:

        I.              Suitable for straight cutting only

      II.              Easy to handle for height & weight

    III.              Small in size

    IV.               Can cut big parts easily

 Disadvantage:

        I.               Can cut only up to 30% height of the knife

      II.              Small and angle PCS cannot cut

    III.              Need Experienced cutting man.

C.      Band Knife:

Advantage:

        I.                Can cut fabric more accurately.

      II.               Suitable for very small parts cutting

    III.              Can cut in any angle

    IV.               Option to use template

Disadvantage:

        I.                Fabric wastage is more

      II.               Panel need to more so that more time required

    III.              Not suitable for big parts cutting
